Gameplay Highlights and Fees

Tournaments are always free to enter. On the platform, join by simply clicking the "Join Game" button on the Preview Game screen PRIOR to the start of each tournament. Upon joining each tournament, you will be allocated a simulated trading account of $10,000.

In order to qualify for a Leaderboard ranking and a chance to win a tournament prize, you must make at least 1 trade during tournament play. Each trade requires 1 Game Credit Token (GCT), regardless of the trade size.

The tournament winner will be the player that grows their portfolio the most by the end of the tournament (usually 1 week). During our beta launch, the top 3 players on the final leaderboard will share the weekly HBAR prize pool.

Any player can create a Player Game. Players can choose from a variety of tokens to trade, set the start and end times for gameplay and select a starting simulated trading portfolio of up to $50,000. The cost to create a Player Game is 1 GCT.

If a player elects to make a Player Game "Private", the game will be password protected and only players with the password will be able to compete in the game.

If a player elects to create a Player Game with a Prize Pool, each player will be required to contribute an amount to the pool, as set by the game creator, when joining the game. The cost to join a Player Game is 1 GCT in addition to any Prize Pool amount required. 

A 2% custody fee is charged to Prize Pools. This fee is deducted from the final prize payout.

Game Credit Tokens (GCT) are intended for use solely on the Tradegames platform.

During our Beta launch, the cost of 1 GCT is pegged to the HBAR token at a 1:1 ratio.
