Tokenomics for the tradegames platform

The GCT token had an initial mint of 10 million tokens but has an unlimited supply. GCT has no value or utility outside of gameplay on the Tradegames platform. The token is used for making simulated trades on the platform where players can compete to win up to 10,000 HBAR each week in our trading tournaments, or can be used to set up and participate in customizable Player games that anyone can create. GCT is like an old fashioned arcade token, although the more you engage on the platform with your GCT, the more platform tokens you will be eligible to receive once the platform token is launched.

Our platform token does not have an official launch date yet. However, once the token is launched, we will certainly be rewarding active players on the Tradegames platform and will airdrop tokens to any wallets linked to the platform based on player engagement. This means that the more you interact with the GCT token in tournaments and games over the coming weeks/months, the more platform tokens you will receive as part of our "thank you" to the community that supports us during our beta phase. 

The current expectation for the launch of our platform token is Q1 of 2025.
